Alani Jackson is a respected and dynamic government leader with almost two decades of experience as a public servant in California correctional healthcare and state Medicaid agencies. She is a skilled and effective policy maker, knowledgeable in stakeholder engagement, outreach strategies, media campaigns, and creative solutions that connect policy and practice in an efficient and culturally competent manner. Ms. Jackson is an expert liaison with a proven track record of working collaboratively across organizations, federal and state oversight agencies, and political and fiscal climates to drive policy solutions to complex and politically sensitive issues. Her passion for public service is driven by her diverse background, formative adolescent experiences, and core belief that leading with love can change the world.
Ms. Jackson earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and two Bachelor’s in Community and Regional Development and Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
